After graduating from the University of Alberta with a Bachelor of Commerce degree, Paul joined Shell Canada Ltd and enjoyed a 17-year career in various finance, accounting, and supervisory roles. During that time, he also earned his designation as a Certified Management Accountant (now a CPA). He has also worked at Enmax Energy as a Controller, and with 3 crude oil marketing and trading companies as the Chief Financial Officer, all 3 of which were start-ups. Having worked in the industry during crude oil deregulation and retail electricity regulation has provided lots of work experience during times when the rules are changing quickly.   
Paul is focussed on getting the job done right and is a big believer in teamwork, transparency, and getting everyone on board pulling in the same direction.
