BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COORDINATOR

Working within the Commercialization Department, the BD Coordinator will be supporting sales, marketing, geoscience, and external engagement team members. The role touches multiple departments within Summit and acts as the coordinator to ensure deliverables are met. In addition, this role will have a diverse array of responsibilities, including database management, reporting, and general administrative support for our growing Commercialization team.

POSITION DESCRIPTION
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Administers, schedules activities, and manages tasks on contracts, agreements, and other documents to support the company’s commercialization goals. Includes coordination contributions of internal and external stakeholders.

Participation and support in customer meetings, internal meetings, and other stakeholder engagement, representing Summit from a contract administration perspective.

Conduct industry and company specific research to generate and validate ideas.

Track, analyze and report on market intelligence supporting our business development initiatives.

Develops a deep understanding of Summit’s existing contracts, actions required, and stakeholders affected both internally and externally.

Utilizes knowledge and expertise to provide input on contracts and/or change orders terms and conditions, conduct quality assurance reviews, and report on status, issues, and activities weekly.

Manages the coordination of activities related to the administration of contracts both within the organization and externally with our customers and vendors

General administrative assistance for commercialization team such as data entry, research, analytics, reporting, travel planning, expenses and other administrative tasks.
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree in related discipline

3-5 years’ experience in project coordination, contracts administration or similar role

Highly effective communication skills

Spanish language skills would be considered an asset.

Self-motivated, proactive, flexible, and enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment

Detail oriented with a proven track record of successful team coordination

Experience using Microsoft Office Suite, Project Management and CRM software

Excellent attention to detail and deadline motivated

Contracts experience an asset

Ability to thrive in a fast-moving business and technical environment
